Welcome to The AP Business Group. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our cleaning and handyman services. By booking our services or using our website, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services Offered
The AP Business Group provides professional cleaning and handyman services, including but not limited to:
Residential house cleaning (regular and deep cleaning)
Commercial cleaning services
Move-in and move-out cleaning
Handyman services (tile work, small repairs, maintenance)
Post-construction cleanup
Specialized cleaning services
All services are provided subject to availability and scheduling.
2. Booking and Scheduling
Estimates:
Free estimates are provided for all services
Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date provided
Final pricing may vary based on actual property conditions and scope of work
We reserve the right to adjust pricing for additional work discovered on-site
Scheduling:
Services are provided by appointment only
We will confirm all appointments in advance
Same-day bookings are subject to availability
Emergency services may incur additional charges
Cancellations and Rescheduling:
24-hour advance notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling
Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may incur a cancellation fee
No-shows or same-day cancellations will be charged 50% of the scheduled service cost
Weather-related cancellations will be rescheduled at no charge
3. Pricing and Payment
Payment Terms:
Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements have been made
We accept cash, check, and major credit cards
For recurring services, payment may be collected in advance
Invoices not paid within 30 days may incur late fees of 1.5% per month
Additional Charges:
Extra services requested during the appointment may incur additional charges
Travel fees may apply for locations outside our standard service area
Returned checks will incur a $35 processing fee
Collection costs and legal fees may be added to unpaid balances
4. Customer Responsibilities
Property Preparation:
Secure or remove valuable, fragile, or personal items before our arrival
Clear surfaces and floors of personal belongings to allow for proper cleaning
Ensure reasonable access to all areas to be cleaned
Provide necessary utilities (water, electricity) for service completion
Access and Safety:
Provide safe and reasonable access to the property
Inform us of any hazardous conditions, materials, or substances
Ensure pets are properly secured during service
Provide parking space reasonably close to the property
Supply any necessary access codes, keys, or garage door openers
Communication:
Communicate any special instructions or concerns before service
Report any issues or concerns within 24 hours of service completion
Provide accurate contact information for appointment coordination
5. Our Responsibilities and Service Standards
Professional Standards:
Provide services in a professional and workmanlike manner
Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment
Respect your property and privacy
Maintain appropriate licensing and insurance coverage
Quality Assurance:
Perform services according to industry standards
Address any legitimate service concerns promptly
Maintain open communication throughout the service process
6. Limitations and Disclaimers
Service Limitations:
We do not move heavy furniture or appliances
Some stains or damage may be permanent and cannot be removed
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage to property
Certain items require special handling and may not be included in standard services
Access to all areas must be safe and reasonable
Items Not Cleaned:
Fine art, antiques, or highly valuable items
Electronics and computer equipment
Items in poor or fragile condition
Biohazardous materials
Items specifically excluded in the service agreement
7. Insurance and Liability
Insurance Coverage:
We maintain general liability insurance
All employees are bonded and background checked
Insurance certificates available upon request
Liability Limitations:
Our liability is limited to the actual cost of the specific service performed
We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
Claims must be reported within 24 hours of service completion
Our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service
Property Damage:
We will repair or replace any items damaged due to our negligence
Pre-existing damage will not be our responsibility
Photos may be taken before service to document property condition
8. Satisfaction Guarantee
We guarantee your satisfaction with our services
Any service concerns must be reported within 24 hours
We will return to address legitimate concerns at no additional charge
If we cannot resolve the issue, we will provide a partial or full refund
Guarantee applies only to the specific services performed
9. Cancellation and Refunds
Service Cancellation:
Either party may terminate ongoing service agreements with 7 days written notice
Prepaid services will be refunded for unused portions
Refunds will be processed within 30 days of cancellation
Refund Policy:
Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis
Partial refunds may be provided for incomplete services
Processing fees may be deducted from refunds
Refunds will be issued using the original payment method
10. Privacy and Confidentiality
We respect your privacy and maintain confidentiality
Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information
We do not share customer information except as required by law
Photos of completed work may be used for marketing with your permission
11. Dispute Resolution
Governing Law:
These Terms are governed by the laws of Florida.
Dispute Process:
Disputes should first be addressed directly with our management
Mediation may be required before pursuing legal action
Small claims court jurisdiction applies for qualifying disputes
Legal fees may be awarded to the prevailing party
12. General Terms
Modifications:
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time
Changes will be posted on our website with notice to existing customers
Continued use of services indicates acceptance of modified Terms
Severability:
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, remaining provisions remain in effect
Entire Agreement:
These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and service agreements, constitute the entire agreement between parties
Independent Contractors:
Our employees are not authorized to make agreements beyond these Terms
Any modifications must be in writing and signed by authorized management
